\nBorn in Foggia in 1986, he lives and works in Rome.<\/p>\n

In his works of synthetic forms and bright colors, through a fundamental language he is able to negotiate multiple layers of interpretation. This approach situates his stories on the perennial threshold between innocence and artifice, serenity and catastrophe, in a magnetic tension that is the interpretive key of our own existence.<\/p>\n

The new Agostino mural in Oviedo<\/h2>\n

Parees Festival appreciates collaboration with the neighbors of the Pumar\u00edn neighborhood, the Sin Nombre Bar, the Fuente Pandu Neighborhood Association and the Agora Association, Foto Cine Club, all protagonists in the participatory process of Agostino Iacurci’s intervention in Pumar\u00edn.<\/p>\n

It was an incredible process where the artist had the opportunity to get to know the neighbours and hear their stories first-hand, discover their anecdotes and relive the neighbourhood’s past.<\/p>\n

From that meeting the final idea for the mural was born: an apple tree (\u201cPumar\u201d in Asturian) from which the “Pumar\u00edn” neighbourhood gets its name. Because as they counted their neighbours, the neighbourhood began to resemble an orchard extending to the outskirts of the city.<\/p>\n
