Udane Juaristi (1985 ) is a painter from Azkoitia (Gipuzkoa, Spain). She studied Fine Arts in Bilbao and Paris.
She learnt different techniques to use them in her work and little by little discovered her own style.
She mixes painting, collage and transfer technique, achieving a personal and recognizable style. Urban scenes are the main focus of her work. These urban character has been transforming her work, and nowadays she paints also walls and street murals. In fact, the street has always been a source of inspiration for Udane.
She creates scenes using the photos that she takes in her walks through the world, giving to these photos life and colour by her painting.
She loves to capture in her work people walking in the street, their movement, colours and light.
She has shown her work in different galleries such as ARTEZTU, TIRIKITAUKI and ARTEUPARTE in San Sebastian, ISPILU in Zarautz, or ESPAZIO B eta B in Lekunberry.
Besides, she has participated in some art festivals and painted in public places like Madrid, Zaragoza, Baiona, Lekunberry, Mauleon, Barcelona, Irun, San Sebastian or Getaria.
